International Presentation Skills

The challenge for Rolls Royce was to build outstanding cross border relationships with clients, including most of the world's major airlines, and to communicate more effectively with partners, by improving their level of consistency in cross cultural communication.

The Partnership

The head of Change Management Programmes within Training & Development asked Black Isle to develop a bespoke programme that met the needs of a diverse workforce who needed to communicate with clients from all over the world.

The Programme

The programme combined the Black Isle approach with our multicultural expertise. The result was that international project managers, relationship managers and engineers developed the skills to communicate in a natural, conversational style that is consistent with the preferences of the audience irrespective of nationality or culture. The course also helped create the maximum personal impact when presenting ideas, irrespective of culture or language.

The Impact

The impact from this course has been profound based on the feedback from the delegates. Black Isle's approach has been enthusiastically embraced by the participants and the organization. The course is now being offered to senior managers and this will help stimulate the cultural change that is gathering momentum
